In 2011, Hillel at Davis and Sacramento celebrated 46 years of serving Jewish students in our community. In the 1960s there were just a few hundred students in the Davis and Sacramento area. Today there are over 5,000!
We want to invite you to be a part of laying the groundwork for Hillel's future.
The new Hillel House has been designed to be eco-friendly and will be one of the first "green" Hillel buildings in the country. The Jewish values of "Baal Tashchit" (do not destroy the earth) and "Shomrei Adamah" (caretakers of the earth) have guided us in this project.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of building
a beautiful, green, state-of-the-art facility that students and
our community will enjoy for years to come. Each brick
purchased will be laser engraved with your personal message.
The 8”x 8” bricks will be placed directly outside the main entry
door, while the 4”x 8” bricks will be set in the front courtyard.
Not only will you make a difference to our students, but the brick you
purchase can be donated in someone’s honor, memory, or as a graduation
gift for a student who will always remember their days at Hillel.
