This week, students from our Alternative Spring Break trip with the Jewish Farm School will prepare a delicious feast filled with local, organic, food and teach us a bit about sustainable food and farming practices, and what they have to do with Judaism!

-$30/team entrance fee

-Prizes for top teams and for costumes/creativity

Proceeds will go to Jewish Heart for Africa and to Challah for Hunger

Challah for Hunger will sell fresh-baked challah at the event!

Join us for a special evening centered on the story of the Cuban Jewish community. After the Cuban Revolution of 1961, when religion was banned, the Jewish community on the island was faced with incredible challenges. The film "Jubanos" uses first-person accounts to tell the story of how a new generation of Cuban Jews re-learned what so many had previously forgotten. Following the film, there will be a Q&A with June and Bob Safran, the former Executive and Medical Directors of the Cuba-America Jewish Mission.

Do you have contagious creative, entrepreneurial energy & want to work as part of a team of fantastic student leaders?

Want to gain skills in marketing, community organizing, and programming?

Then apply to be a Koret Intern for the 2012-2013 academic year!

Koret Interns are students who demonstrate excellent leadership skills, successfully engage fellow students, think creatively, work independently and cooperatively, and have the desire to make positive changes in Jewish student life. Interns make Hillel an exciting, dynamic, and friendly place for Jewish students to meet each other, explore Judaism, learn about Israel, and make an impact on our campus communities.

Interns will work in one of the following areas of focus, as well as collaborating on general projects & initiatives:

Shabbat & Holidays
Israel
Tzedek (Social Justice)
Campus Engagement
Social Media & Marketing
Facilities
