We are committed to providing access to resources at CSU Sacramento. For any students who attend CSUS, please utilize this list of resources to be healthy, happy, and successful college student.

Student Health, Counseling, and Wellness Services

CSUS offers health and counseling services that provide students with help in many areas. Sacramento Health, Counseling, and Wellness Services (SHCWS) supports all aspects of student health and wellness by offering access to illness and injury care, psychological services, nutritional health care, basic needs support, and more.

Student Affairs

Student affairs is the department in charge of providing the administrative support to create a vibrant campus life for students. This department supports Hillel, Jewish students, and our outreach efforts such as tabling on campus.

Disability access center (Lassen hall 1008)

Disability Access Center (DAC) provides a wide range of academic accommodations that ensure disabled students have equal educational access. Questions related to specific accommodation requirements and/or in general, may also be submitted via email so that they may be dispatched to the most appropriate staff member able to provide the most timely response.

Basic Needs Resources

CSUS is there to help students respond to crisis events they might experience. This office provides access to a variety of resources to meet the housing, food, and financial needs of students. Confidential information and referral services are available 24/7 through this office.

Academic Support Services

There are a variety of academic success programs and services across campus for students to stay on track. These services include academic advising, math tutoring center, the writing center, first year academic experience program, and student success centers at each college.

The Well at Sac State

The Well is a division of student affairs that oversees fitness, recreation, and intramural sports. The overall goal is promoting student wellness. Student Health and Counseling Services are a separate department. However, they are partners in promoting wellness.
